The mixed dark and desert atmosphere of Breaking Bad shapes the design approach. While the abundance of wood on the wall, floor, and main furniture contribute to the dark vibe, cactus, and jute elements are used in order to recreate the desert atmosphere of New Mexico. In order to feel like being in a scene of Breaking Bad, decorative elements are selected carefully from the series - such as chalkboard, yellow barrels, and laboratory elements –. A modular bookshelf is designed in the shape of the periodic table to give a subtle and neat reference to the series.
